CS2 Sensitivity is so much slower
I am posting this thread to catch attention of the dev's or community to help solving the issue of the sensitivity values not matcing in CS2 vs CSGO.

In CS2 the sensitivity feels way slower using the same sensitivity value. Did anybody have it and how did you solve it?

For me it is exactly the same. I also use the same resolution and aspect ratio.

Ehmm, no its not. You probberly had raw input, or mouse acceleration on in CSGO. Both of these options are removed in CS2.

shut up shiftman Sep 4, 2023 @ 3:55am
prolly comes from raw input missing

Most likely because of lower fps, i have the same problem.
in csgo i got around 270-320 fps average, cs2 i get 170-240 fps.

Is all about raw input. Your Windows system is taking the control.
You need raw input to get pass by Windows stuff. Not implemented yet, It will get implemented. There are certain things you can do. Go to easy of access and find the mouse setting. (youtube has videos about it)

that shouldnt change it unless ure on 300000hz
but some ppl will drop under 100. and that has a major impact on sens.

I'm not sure about this, but maybe it has to do with the Raw Input setting in CSGO that doesn't exist in CS2, if you used it in CSGO and it doesn't exist in CS2 it might be a bit different?
Have you tried disabling it in csgo and check if the sensitivity is the same?

It defenetly feels that way even if someone says otherwise. I feel like they've changed the FOV a little and/or map dimensions are different too. Also the way bullets hit playermodel behind where it actually when its moving might be the reason as well. IDK the game is still in beta and it just feels weird.
