cs2 performance

ik it s beta and I shouldn't get my hopes up for smooth gameplay , but I get enormous framedrops , from 150fps to 30fps . Also on some maps I barely get 50fps . Ik it s not the best PC but , I m playing on 4:3 1280 x 1020 ( or something similar ) low settings with FX on quality. With this rig I've managed to run doom eternal on ultra at 120+ fps.

If u have any tips for fps boosting I'd like to hear them.
my pc :
Intel Xeon x5690 ( equivalent of a I7 6700)
GTX 1650S
16GB ram
game on hdd ( which is why I suspect framedrops)

it does not help , I still have low fps during some fights

i have game installed on ssd and have drops too, sooo we must wait for offical release. I have similar pc, and my fps drops from 50 to over 190, but 98% of time in this game i have 45-55-60 fps.

Doom Eternal is optimized insanely good and is all around less demanding than CS2.
Apples and oranges.
CS2 runs great on modern mid tier hardware!
