CS2: How Can I Leave Beta?
I was hyped about the recent "public beta" which enrolled in September 1st but at this state it is horrible, desync problems, apparent cheaters, really high skill group enemy team and lots of other issues.

Also it's size is apparently 65GB which is a lot for me, so I would like to leave the beta but wasn't able to find any option or guide for it. Does anyone know how to? Thanks in advance.

Just remove the limited invite package and you can recover it at any time

Thanks, was able to check it in library as a DLC but didn't think of this.

If there was an option like this I would lol, it's honestly not worth it for now, even more if the full release is in sept 23rd.

Leave it be as it is. Just play normal CSGO when asked by steam in launch options. Now, if you really want to leave the beta completely then click on top of the client "help" --) "Counter Strike: Global Offensive" -- DLCs -- "Counter Strike 2 Limited Test" and finally "I want to permanently remove this product".
I Strongly advise against this. Keep in mind that this is permament unless there is another wave of "testers" added and you happen to receive the invite again.

Steam doesn’t allow you to remove anything permanently from account

Then what does the "I want to permanently remove this game from my account" option do for games and DLC?

That´s just wrong.
You can remove games from your account, I´ve used that option before.

Homes --> games and applications > (Any game) -> I want to permamently remove this game from my account and down there it says:
"If you proceed, your account (account name) will no longer own the following products: (Name of the game)"
You can see it for yourself.
By clicking the button, you are removing your license to a given game. Achievements, screenshots, game files itself (if installed) will remain on your account though....
Permamently means you will never own the game unless you repurchase it again, not that you are barred from buying it ever again....

You can hide the fact that you own the game but you cannot remove something permanently, you always going to own the game.

The are only two way to remove the game permanently

1. CD-KEY get revoked.
2. Delete your account permanently

The are no other way to permanently delete the license of a game in your account, how hard is it to understand that

Also

“Your account already owns a removed copy of the above items, so you can’t purchase them again. You can restore these items via Steam Support, purchase these items as a gift or adjust the contents of your cart to continue.“
