CS Brightness

I really like cs (valve) but when it comes to brightness they're suck
CSGO was too dark
CS2 is too bright
What do you think? Did you like the new brightness of the game

i think if your turn down brightness and digital vibrance in gpu driver settings it becomes fine and leave brightness at 100% in game anything over makes it waaay to bright.

CSGO is perfect.
CS2 is overbrightnened and not good for eyes.
Changing brightness doesn't resolve the issue because game can't normally work with brightness. and black color as well.

When change brightness to minimum then it looks like maximum brightness in csgo (I play csgo on maximum brightnes and everything is awesome), but dark/light balance is screwed and menu is dark asf.

I encourage you to send bug reports about superbrightness. Please send CS2 bug reports to:

cs2team [at] valvesoftware [dot] com

Be sure to title your email: "CS2LT Bug - " followed by a brief description of the bug.

Example; "CS2LT Bug - m0nesy illegal banana boost on inferno".

If you have video of a bug, please upload it online and provide a link so Valve can view it. This helps them triage, evaluate, and solve bugs quicker.

yeah at first glance back when i gained access i thought it looked washed and too bright. some messing with gpu settings helped a bit

Thanks for pointing that out. I have not tried it yet. I just saw Water CS2 video on it and immediately went ahead and made a thread, which is probably on the second page right now if not the third one. I just saw a ton of people complaining that this game is way too bright, so I guess that is a good way of fixing it. They should include that gamma slider in the options menu tbh!

Definitely way to bright/vibrant, and it's not about the contrast between light and shadow areas, it's just too much strain on the eyes.

HAHA LOL it's the same as brightness in settings. when you put it on 3 then you just lower your brightness to minimum. you can check it in settings
