CS2 freezing and can't close it

CS2 keep freezing in random moments and I can't close it (I must ctr alt del, select change account and close game from steam). WHY
When i see task menager the cs2 when freezing keep like 80-90% memory wtf, I dont have newest pc but still wtf is going on

You can't solve this, a lot of players are having the same issue. You need to wait for Valve to fix their cheat softwares since they all have crashing and other issues(like wall hack sometimes doesn't work) and then they'll work on CS.

Same issue here, had to restart my PC mid game and couldn’t reconnect in time.
Got a 2h comp cooldown for that

I have a half solution for you all, at least it worked for me so first of all you must turn off discord and steam overlay in settings next:
-16:9 resolution i think it works the best
-Don't minimalize game when playing (I don't think It works but still worth a try)
-Fullscreen no windowed
-Antyaliasing 2x (you can try other if you like)
-NVIDIA reflex: on
-High dynamic range: efficiency
-FidelityFX super resolution: balance but quality and efficiency works too
-Ping: off and map no rotating
-In NVIDIA settings choose: efficiency
-Verifying cs:go files on steam from time to time

other settings are what you like but low and medium gives more efficiency.

Sometimes game still freezes but its like 1 on 5/7 games and when that happend just fast restart pc and join match

I hope this should help somebody till valve dont fix/optimalize their game

just change your setting to Fullscreen only... The default setting is Fullscreen Windowed... this would solve it...

when u open task manager from alt del, press on letter 'C' on keyboard then press del, it will close cs2 immediately then u can re-launch cs2 right away without needing to sing out or restarting

What makes you think its vac?

I actually agree with you, the couple times its happened to me, its happened after pulling off a couple crazy shots.
