LOW FPS ISSUE
In CSGO I play at 120 FPS without any issues, but in CS2 its usually 40 fps, sometimes lower, sometimes higher, but its unplayable to me.

SPECS:
-CPU: Intel I3-4160
-GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (2gb)
-RAM: 12 Gb DDR3
-Drive: PNY CS900 SSD 480GB
-Motherboard: ASRock H81M-VG4 R2.0
-PSU: Corsair VS650

Any help is appreciated. I have tried the following:
-Experimenting with diverse graphic configuration settings
-Tried all different Fullscreen / windowed options
-Updating NVIDIA drivers
-Restarting computer after installing

I usually test all changes by joining a deathmatch lobby and playing for a few minutes, the game usually performs worse minutes into the game.

CPU, RAM and GPU are usually low (70%, 50% and 30% load each and quite stable).

Tried to contact CS:GO support but only found a link to a blog (using steam support tab)

Any help is appreciated

How are your temps? If it gets worse after a bit of playing, could be your computer heating up.

Performance in cs2 not the best anyways, even though people hyped up the "new engine oh ma gawd we gonna get so much performance"
If they wanna release it, it's gonna take a ♥♥♥♥ ton of optimization before they do.

The game starts in windows mode, just change it to fullscreen and set your hz right.

minimize your resolution

Tried minimizing resolution before and improved a little bit the performance but not a huge deal. About the temps, fans arent even working, they usually do at higher end games (as pubg, battlefield, ER), but with CS2 they only started working when I tried selling a case, not in game. Its not until I finish the game that I hear them working again. Playing 5v5 nuke at 60hz proved to be stable, but still, some areas dropped my frames and I'm suposed to be playing at 120hz, which is my current refresh rate, and one that I can achieve easily in GO
