FPS drop in CS2 when scoping

I got access to CS 2, and i know it is still in testing, but i wanted to know if its just me or what.
I get 60-100 FPS in CS2 but when i buy a sniper and open scope in, there is a sudden FPS drop almost feels like freezing, otherwise the game runs fine.
So does it happen with you guys? I never had this problem in csgo

My game freezes when scoping and I have a 12400 with a 4070ti I think its just the game.

I have the same issue, literally unplayable with snipers, reinstalling didn't help

It appears that this is an issue on 4000 series Nvidia GPUs. I am running a 1080 and am not getting that. So hopefully they figure that one out!

I don't think so, I am using a radeon gpu (RX 5700XT)

I have the same issue and i'm still using a GTX 1080.

and i also noticed i faced scoping lag only in inferno and dust 2, vertigo was fine

Reflex is off for me yet the problem still occurs

same problem here, it goes from 150fps to 50, 60 and then come back

I got AMD RX 5600 XT tried verify the file, messed around with the files etc and still found nothing that can help, although while I messed around with the files at some points the whole game started freezing, stuttering and was getting the following error in cosnole
[Shooting] cl: ReadFrameInput - Presented data has no mod info

After some research found out that it has to do with the shaders and that after 15mins or so they must be fine, and true it was fine after less than 15mins but the stutter with the scope was still there. At this point I got no idea.

i have same gpu and same problem, game freezing from start and than its gone.
reinstall windows, drivers, tried almost everything but nothing work
