CS2 Black Screen

So overall looking basically for someone that had similar issues or having them right now

CS2 repeats more often than csgo, but happens there as well time to time on brand new pc ..

could be one problem that is taking all my energy of finding a fix..

let's start from the beggining..
overall pc runs well interms of FPS
but I have these crashes and high variaty.. didn't play anthing other than csgo and cs2..
1st crash was csgo black screen with small ancient pixelated lines and pc shut down
2nd csgo same but just black screen

then csgo rarely but still crashes, but not pc
yesterday got cs2 and during 4hours of play had like 5 black screen crashes at random times during games when all I could do is to go to task manager to end cs2 task..
out of those 5 crashes 2 were different, tried to alt tab and cs2 in black screen was altabbing itself in a fast speed

So firstly probabably would be right to find a problem, I'm not a pc guy, but any legit help identifying the problem would be helpful.. then later let's see where can we go from there..
After all I feel I am in a minority, if I get these issues and majority doesn't, it's not the game to blame, something is ain't right on my side of things

My issue is more serious,I can't even login after playing a few rounds!It just shows that I need to verify my updates,and it repeated for million times

Couldnt it be a win11 integrity issue? I have the same and now I am thinking to try it with win10

nah, fix is either what guy said is to -disable_d3d9ex -windowed -autoconfig in launch options or my problem was overclocked pc that I just reset settings to default on BIOS

Same here. only time cs2 launches without it being just a black screen is when I use -autoconfig . However, when I try yo change any video settings the game crashes which does not le me play it normally (cause all the video settings are set to high ect.) Also it does not offer me any resolutions for 4:3 stretched. I can also change them via launch options but still weird. Tried reinstalling the game twice, also reseting BIOS settings and all other stuff but still no results really.

Set the resolution back to 720p by doing -w 720, h-1080

my entire system goes black screen once a notification pops up in the steam messenger, whether from leetify or a friend inviting me to join. and i have to usually force shutdown and restart. using linux

People, if this problem is not only with you, but also with many people, then do not try to find a solution yourself, do not reset the bios, overclocking, etc., you will just lose time. This is a problem on the side of the game, specifically because of the developers, not the hardware or software of the players, just wait for it to be fixed and that's it.

Having the same issue as you. CS2 just suddenly black screen when playing.

for me it only works on windowed and windowed fullscreen and as soon as i turn it back to fullscreen the screen goes black

yeah I had the same issue when migrants moved into my neighborhood and suddenly everything was black.
