Trying to bind knife to MWHEELUP (CS2)

As stated in the title, I have been trying to bind MWHEELUP with: bind "MWHEELUP" "use weapon_knife" however CS2 isn't able to process "use weapon_knife". The reason I want knife in particular and not just slot3 is because when I scroll up it will keep scrolling between them if it is slot3. Does anyone know the command to just pull out the knife in CS2?

couldnt you just set melee to mouse wheel up in your keyboard bindings?

Yea, but that includes zeus if I buy one and so it's the same as slot3

Please let us know if you find out how to do it. I find it really annoying that they removed `user weapon_knife` in cs2.

@philvmk No, slot3 will pick knife and taser if you have a taser, read the post in full. In CSGO there was a command that would only pick the knife. Just like you can just pick a grenade and not cycle through all of them.

I also have this problem. It doesn't seem like there's a solution currently, if anyone can prove me wrong I would really appreciate it.

This doesn't really apply to people who press a button for their weapon switch because they will always get the knife first but us mouse wheel users will multi-input and be on a random melee weapon.
