What happens if you buy prime after CS2 full launch?

I am planning to buy CSGO Prime somewhere in 2024 and I am wondering if CS2 has already been fully launched and I bought the prime in CSGO, will it transfer?

I only see "will prime transfer to CS2 after release?" questions so I decided to ask it. I don't want to buy csgo prime without it not transferring to CS2.

It transfers if you get it now but when CS2 releases, it will be CS2 Prime instead of CS:GO Prime.

Yes. You buy Prime for CSGO everything transfers over, like your rank, inventory, etc.

Wait I don't get it, what is CS2 exactly? is it a different game or what. Why wont I get CSGO prime?

CS2 is not a new game it's just a free update for GO so everything will carry over including prime status.

Yup, Counter-Strike 2 will simply replace CS:GO, probably on the 23rd of September.

Yes. You buy Prime for CSGO everything transfers over, like your rank, inventory, etc.

It does not transfer your rank. That one will be reset as you will be able to get a new rank on each map in Competitive and also a CS Rating on Premier mode.

I am trying to earn money in my video game but it might take a while so I might get it in January or February. Saving my parents a break from the money problem right now. CSGO Prime is expensive for us right now it can be enough to feed me for a whole weekday.

They are kind enough to spend their money to buy me a computer so I can have fun :(

uhh I spend like 100 PHP on just lunch dinner and breakfast not included which is around 2 dollars so probably not a whole weekday 🤔

edit: Just the food water is cheap, well in some areas like school water. Sorry for the money difference confusion just forget about it.

I just realized that you thought that I spend 15 euros a day, I meant the whole weekday(Monday-Friday) and also in my country prime is 13.7 euros

Forget about this confusion thanks for the csgo prime problem though it got me worried for a week.😅

Then, you either never had Prime or someone "hid" Prime via support.
