Can't open console cs2

I have console enabled, I binded the key again, I tried with -dev and -console. Nothing I do makes the console appear. However, if I'm in a game and I press the key to console then the mouse appears which means that the game is trying to open the console however the console doesn't show. I have no idea what to do. I tried binding it to another key and still, no success.

try bringing the console to the forefront or changing the resolution; the console might reappear in a more accessible location.

Having the same problem, I tried reinstalling, verifying files, changing res, rebinding console, turning console on and off. No matter what I do i cant find a fix :(

As said earlier its like the console is invisble sometimes no matter what I do nothing comes up but other times I can only see the prompts but I cant see the actual console itself
