CS2 Resolution Problem Alt + Tab

Does anyone have this problem? When i click Alt + Tab i can normally go to my home screen, but when i comeback to the game, I can't reach the options in the game with the cursor on them, i need to find where are them with the cursor in other place to reach where I want. If somebody knows how to solve this problem, tell me pls.

same for me. sometime it happens when i press tab - my resolution is high 3440x1440 but that is the native for this monitor. Black screen, discord crashes aswell and i need to kill cs from taskmanager then start again csgo +discord.
forget to mention i have AMD 7900 xtx , with latest driver (23.8.2)

I fixed the issue for a short period of time.
The issue is somewhere in the files that get backupped with the cloud storage.
I have reinstalled Windows and faced the same issue.
I have disabled the cloud storage and delete a lot of csgo game files and verified the game files. After that the issue was gone.
I played a game but went back switching some settings and resolution and now the issue is back so i have to fix it again.

Ill do my best to troubleshoot and find out exactly why it is happening.

- I have just turned off the steam cloud for CSGO in the properties.
- Deleted the whole folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-
Strike Global Offensive"
- Executed verify integrity of game files.

Ran CS2 and adjusted the video settings to fullscreen instead of fullscreen windowed and now i'm able to alt + tab again without issues.
Currently i'm not sure where the issue is coming from but this is the solution, hopefully long term. I will try and track my changes for if i run to this issue again.

I have this in CS 2 aswell, and I also started to notice it on other games aswell like The Texas Chainsaw Messacre. Same problem, maybe a bug in the newest drivers from Nvidia.

Same here. My sens also gets messed up. Might have something to do with how I up my dpi in desktop.

I play windowed, when i play fullscreen and alt+tab my pc just crashes

None of this thread helped me. But I have a couple of thoughts. Now I have a RTX 2060 super and it has a problem with fullscreen, but on the second RX 580 video card, there is no such problem at all. A simple fullscreen works, I don’t know what could be the problem.

This worked for me yesterday. Did your issue return?

My Native resulution is 3840x2160p(240hz) my secound monitor runs at 2560x1440p Native(180hz) GPU: RTX 4070 Ti, CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

I run cs2 in 4:3" 1280x920p and when i tab out i can't get back in again, it just trying to flick up cs2 but then it tabs out to windows again, need to restart the computer.. sometimes it works, but often not.

same for me , and i have some more issues... when i get a message from discord , the game alttabing itself.. just unplayable, i have tried all the solution above and nothing seems to work..
i game on a 2k resolution and discord on second screen at 1140x900 , 4070ti
