CS 2 fps cap of 120 FPS

For some reason I am only getting getting 120 fps in low and high setting even tho monitor refresh rate is 165 and v-sync is off

when CS:GO 500-600 FPS

i5-10600k and 4070ti (upgrading cpu soon, but) max 120 struggles to be smooth may need to lower monitor refresh to 120 >.<

I have the same issue. Why it is happening in CS2?

CS2 is refresh is limited to 120hz

I had to enable vsync to make it look smooth despite 200+ fps but disabling after seemed to have fixed it

only noticed 120 cap in menu, ingame my fps is like 210 i have a 3080 i-7 12000kf

open ur console and type in fps_max 0
or add that to ur Start option.

Btw i get close to 400FPS with my specs (Ryzen 7 5700x, RTX 3060 12gb, 32gb ram)

My fps went in cs2 from 230 to 80, dont worry this game is just trash and needs to be remove. GIVE US CSGO BACK

fps_max_ui 30

to limit fps in menu to 30

or type
fps_max_ui 400

to murder your gpu
