How do I stop cs2 download?

I just got beta access and thought about downloading c2 and try it but my internet is very bad and it will take a long time. So i tried to launch cs go but wont let me until the downloa d is done. Is there anyway to stop it or play cs go without downloading cs 2 test?

Listen to me:
Go into steam offline mode, launch cs:go, return steam to online mode and you can play cs:go without cs2 downloading launched.

is the solution doesnt work you can do what I did. Instead of going offline I asked steam support to remove the cs 2 dlc from my account and so i dont have it anymore but the download stopped and that what i wanted.


Note: I dont know if you can get the dlc of cs2 back again so do it at your own risk . (Obviously when they release cs2 officially you will have it).
