I got the same issue after updating NVIDIA drivers.

I fixed it by:
1. adding -vulkan in launch options
2. opening the game and setting default resolution in video options (16:9)
3. quitting the game and removing -vulkan from launch options.

It should now launch the game normally and you can just change back to your custom resolution.
THIS is the ♥♥♥♥, guys. He speaks the truth, and he saved me :>>:steamhappy:

Same, after only MoBo upgrade I was stuck on CS2 orange loading screen.

Game files verified
-vulkan added
-game launches
-changed to a non-custom res
-closed the game
-removed vulkan
-verified game files
-lauched game = all ok
- custom res wasn't saved in Adrenaline for some odd reason
- added custom res again
- launched cs2 again, videosettings and custom res was there as it should be.
-PLAY with cheaters!
- Uninstal the game
- Back to happy life again.

open the properties of CSGO and type -vulkan or +vulkan in the launch options, start the game, close it and remove the -vulkan +vulkan tags. I'm unsure which one is the right one so I just do both and it fixed it even after I removed the tags. Hope this helps!

Thanks, it's -vulkan. But now i have a f*cked up resolution, it's zoomed in.
Just remove the vulkan tag now, It'll fix itself in directX.

i HAVE THE SAME ISSUE, im not able to see the backgroud like others, it is just 20% there like street but thats it, i try Vulkan but nothing changed, i try to change Antialysing also the same, it its booring me now i dont have a solution
Odd, I guess it's different for everybody. and If you're not having any texture loading issues with vulkan, then go ahead and keep using it. just make sure you have the latest graphics driver because cs2 has been VERY buggy on old drivers

You just fixed it for my friend you legend! My question is what does -vulkan actually do?

Vulkan is the name for the source shaders

Hardware specs?

Seems like DirectX shader cache problem. Delete shader cache from DirectX.
