years and years of work, millions of $ spent just to make a game 10x worse than valorant.
i don t understand it, all csgo needed were a few visual updates and smoke fixes, now we have a game with MOVEMENT WORSE THAN ROBLOX PHANTOM FORCES , graphics ON THE SAME LEVEL AS STANDOFF 2 (mobile game if you dont know), and not to mention, when you jump on a box or stand next to a teammate, there is a 50% chance you get teleported a step forwards or backwords. I wanted this to be better than valorant,as that game is straight ass, however , i did not expect it to be on the same level as roblox shooters .

How is the graphics as bad as standoff 2

if you don t play on max graphics and on a res lower than 1920x1080, the game looks very ugly, worse than standoff 2, i just hope it s a visual bug as this was a problem in other fps games .

Csgos graphics were extremely outdated, its 2023 and dark colored fps shooters is not a thing anymore.

I played CS2 today, it looks really good and it runs really great. The core of the game is still same, I dont understand how visual updates made the game worse?. Beta version is already better than Valorant.

Also the game is still in beta, dont expect it to be bug-free.

i m not calling them bad in comparison to valorant, i m saying they are not that good, i only like the weapons, i prefer older graphics tbh but that might just be me idk

maybe we played on different servers , for me atleast, everytime i jumped through the window on market on mirage it would teleport me back, every single time

Then go and play 1.6. People called csgo ♥♥♥♥ when it came out too. Actually people do the exact same thing every time anything changes in any version of CS, "old x was better, new one is ♥♥♥♥"

I think you're forgetting the fact that when csgo came out, it was in a far worse situation. So, I think it'll get regular updates and the game will improve over time.

current trends? this is not a trend, this is an improvement. Source 1 was an incredibly dark engine and it still is, it was acceptable a decade ago but now it feels outdated compared to modern shooters.

I am pretty sure Valorant and csgo are the only games you know, so when you see a brighter color palette your brain just starts to cry and think that this is all just a Valorant thing.

Improvements are not for the close-minded people like you.
