Same problem i dont have it in settings.
In csgo i have 200fps+ with it without it i have 80-100fps

Yes, very important.
When enabled, FPS doubles.

check how many cpu-threads you have (if you got 8, remember that )

press right click on CS2 in your library, go properties

click on the empty bar that is called "launch options"

in that bar type "-threads 9" (your number of threads +1 ) ( i dont know why it has to be one more but it should be done like that )

performance should rise

if you want, try to add more launch options, so that the bar looks like this:
"-threads 9 +fps_max 0 -forcedpreload 1 -high -fullscreen -vulkan"

first test with "-threads (your number of threads + 1)"

then slowly add more launch options and test your game with bots

if performance gets worse with "-vulkan"
delete the command

if it gets better, keep it

for me it helped greatly ... i need vulkan to keep my game relatively stable.
