csgo2 only 60hz

why there is only 60hz option in settings? i use 144hz monitor, -freq 144 in startup settings not working, game feels like 60hz

Make sure that you are running the game on fullscreen and native resolution. If you manage to be able to select 144hz but the game still feels like 60fps, try turning on Vsync. It resolved my problem. I had the exact same issue.

seems like youre not using 144 anywhere currently.
if there is only 60 refresh rate option available, then that means you are using the wrong cable to connect your gpu to your screen.
not all cables support 144hz.

or is it csgo specific?
still check that sometimes it resets.

game run with my resolution and fullscreen, im not able to select 144hz because it always only 60hz

Cs2 feels like ass im running on 240hz still doesnt feel right idk tf is wrong with cs2 fps is kinda crap too and btw i got i9 13900k rtx 4080 they better fix this crap before realise

if i turn vsync game run at 60fps not 144

I have the Same issue on my Laptop. On my Desktop pc i can select 1080p in Full Screen but can only select 120 us or lower not 144 hz. On windows and gpu driver all is set up correctly. It is clearly a game issue. I found out that I can change it in the video.txt but it will be override every time I change one advanced video setting…

same thing, i set lower resolution than 1920x1080 and 144hz works but i want to play fullhd
