For anyone that's having this issue but doesn't have CSGO, you can get the device ID from device manager.
1) Search for "Device Manager" in the windows start menu (You can also press Win key + R, then type devmgmt.msc).
2) Expand "Audio inputs and ouputs"
3) Right click the audio output you want CS2 to use and select "Properties"
4) Under the details tab, open the "Property" dropdown and select "Device Instance Path"
5) You should see a string like "SWD\MMDEVAPI\{0.0.0.00000000}.{ D6CC8FD4-7BB4-4825-818B-86F2ED3A4978}"
The last part inside curly braces is the device ID, this is the one you must set as the sound_device_overridevalue in the steam/userdata/"id"/730/local/cfg/ cs2_machine_convars.vcfg file.
It should look something like this
Yes, I just deleted the 730 map and that seems to fix the problem! :) Thanks!!
Thank you so much. If anyone cannot find "sound_device_override" inside the file, open CS2 and run the command: sound_device_override "your ID"
