CS2 Release..

Been seeing lots of troll posts AND genuine questions about when CS2 releases. Now i don't work at valve. I'm also not a Data analyst or a Data miner of any sorts. I don't know for sure Valves intentions and I Don't imagine myself to be some sort of a Seer. To be honest some of you probably know a lot more than me regarding this topic and probably won't find out anything new. This post is aimed more at people who have just heard the news recently and/or are searching it up for the first time.

As we know, all the maps have been released in Beta. At first a lot of people thought it (CS2 Public Beta) would be released on august 23rd, because that's when CS:go 11year birthday was. It didn't.
With that, some people started to speculate it would release on September 15th, because that's when CS 1.6 20year birthday is. Personally, i think that's a bit of a stretch and it most likely will not happen. We all know, and have heard already multiple times, that Valve said - ''CS2 will launch at the end of Summer 2023''. That summer 2023 window has been kept broad. However they did not specify what they meant by ''end of summer''. They have not said that CS2 will be delayed. At this point i believe it's a bit late to delay it. Halloween is coming end of October, 2 months later is Christmas. Knowing Valve, I'm sure they will want to milk the Halloween and Christmas holidays so they are probably scrambling to release it as you're reading this post.

Now. For the important part. What could end of summer actually mean?
Depending on who you ask (from sensible to slightly crazy) summer can end at a number of points.

-Traditionally for Europe and Most of the world, summer is defined by 3 months (June, July, August) For all we know it could be right around the corner and will launch either 31st August or 1st September. This is the most logical assumption. Judge for yourself if this is what Valve would do.
-In the USA it ends on something called ''Labor Day'' which is the first Monday of September therefore being 4th September of this year. This is likely because Valve HQ are located in America.
-(Now this one is a bit of a Stretch but knowing Valve anything can happen) Astronomical end of summer is September 23rd....
-Worst case scenario, it releases Start of Ocotber First Tuesday Update. If all else goes past without any notice then as mentioned before i think they will want to milk that Halloween. Doubt it tho. It's probably closer than we think.
