Black screen when i start CS:GO

I have a problem that when I start csgo, the menu shows for a while, then disappears and the screen is black.
Have any of you had the same?

+ The sound and mouse work, but the screen is all black.

Delete resources and models folder if it has 3rd community map models
Then
verify intergrity of files

Last resort reinstall

delete nothing , just type -autoconfig in launch option & launch the game , this will reset your setting , if it work u can delete the launch option for the next start , have fun bro

Reinstall didn't help, still the same. I have no idea what I can do now.

Same, I wrote to Steam support and waiting for a reply.

try alt+enter when you got the black screen , also try -novid at launch option

and make sure the game is launching with the good gpu , in nvidia/ati panel , choose your gpu , sometimes they are a conflit between gpu & igpu

Steam support wrote back to me to check if I have the correct NVIDIA graphics drivers. I deleted what I had and re-downloaded all drivers. The game launched without any problems. Thank you guys for your help. Case closed.

have u installed latest gpu and cpu drivers + all windows updates? latest Bios installed?

I had the same problem today, I just removed -allow_third_party_software in the launch options and my csgo worked
