CSGO ruined my computer and I had to reinstall windows
So I was playing CSGO normally and fine as usual but then I turned it off the game by doing windows tab and exiting the game by pressing the X button and I Instantly turned of my PC and I saw a error 'Fix the instruction at 0x00000 referenced memory at 0x00000. the memory could not be written' as it was turning off so I went back to turning on my PC again to check what was happening?

I turned on my pc and then 'Hard error' kept popping up and windows logo wasn't opening or the search bar and my pc was flickering and explorer.exe kept reseting so many times and then I went on settings and it said 'This File Does Not Have an App Associated With It' so my windows files were corrupted. I assume it was CSGO fault and not my pc since I have a mid-end pc which can run games.

So I did fix my pc by reinstalling windows but Im saying this so maybe the same problem doesn't happend to you guys. DO not 'force shutdown' csgo and then shut down ur pc after that, it can corrupt ur files since it didn't have time to shut it down since it was trying to get out the game. It's better to go on the csgo settings and leave from there, silly me.

Specs

32GB Ram DDR3
Intel I7-4790
ST3500418AS HDD 466GB (I download csgo on that)
BIWIN SSD 239GB
Nvdia geforce gtx 1060 3gb

Ye its not a bug or anything out there that will break your computer from valves side so i think you do have some problem with you ram or hhd that you should not use for csgo, if you have a ssd go and buy that or just go to your local pc store and buy a ssd for 30 euro. Csgo dont like hhd haha.

No. You can research any error codes yourself but this is not a common issue for CSGO and is most likely an issue with your OS or hard drive.

It only happend with csgo, on my hdd i had high GB games installed but those didn't have a problem but csgo did, i dont know how it was also able to corrupt my system files since my windows was installed on my SSD. but after fixed my pc I went on crystaldiskinfo and says I have reallocated sectors count 58 but I dont know if its that bad bcs i do want to download genshin on my HDD because it has enough storage (out of the topic)
