Change flashes in cs2.
I don't know about you guys, but the white screen it's very annoying especially playing at night. What if flashes instead of white screen would be black screen?
I mean it's even more realistic if you don't see nothing you see black even in real life and it's more comfortable for the eyes instead of that white screen.
I think would be a nice change.

At least my profile is public. What's the problem being OP? So many dumb and toxic people on this community.

I might be wrong, but I think I read in some cs2 announcement that they are actually changing flashes to black, or that there will be an option to change it to black.

Oh, you're new then. Welcome to the community

Your later to cs then 1.6 apperntly because there a screen is white only with a flash . New game new things and alot will change over time.

It would be nice. Only white flashes are racist. Black flashes matters ahahah

That's not actually in game. He says "i have black flash on stream". You can also see the wihite reflection on his face. I have cs2 and there is no such option

funnily enough I tried to do this last year, with no success.

just upgraded to CS2 and had this grey flash, thought it was an intended improvement, FINALLY.

nope, turns out it was a bug, never had it again after that session. shame.

i agree with op, i have light sensitive eyes so those flashes tend to hurt after a min of gameplay, would be nice to set them to a specific color thats less retina burning

Hmm, so would you like Valve to make part of the blinding effect so you see a reddish hue of the back of your eyelids, plus that moving spaghetti closed eye visuals? That would be more realistic, but this isn't supposed to be a realistic shooter

If your monitor supports low blue light, it's less noticeable :)

Flashes are white for visibility.

Black would not work if you are partially flashed and the fade of a flash will result in players not visible when they now become visible because of the white flash.
