can you not get cases by playing normally anymore

You level up if you play normally, that's the whole point of this. Idling won't get you anywhere anymore.

you will drop 1 for every week when you get 1 level, you example are at lv 10 , you play 1 competitive, got lv 11 with xp , you get a case. you can play deathmatch, retakes or what you want but only in official valve server

Same here mate i should have got my case drop today( 7 days between last case drop) but since they patched this new thing and it no longer drops cases by playing only rank up im unable to get it and i level up 2 days ago already so it looks like il miss on the case drop this week

yeah but usually after you level up theres just no reason to play besides trying to get a crate but this kinda kills it tbh

they made it probably because deathmatch was full of iddler. anyway this is true, 90% of time i play only for get a case drop so now i will play less or they wiil add something of interest in cs2 to farm :)
