You want "ease" for buying weapons? Use buyscripts. Buying items via the buywheel is so annoying.
bind "F1" "buy vest; buy vesthelm"
bind "F2" "buy defuser"
bind "F3" "buy ak47"
bind "F4" "buy awp"
bind "F5" "buy hegrenade"
bind "F6" "buy flashbang"
bind "F7" "buy smokegrenade"
bind "F8" "buy molotov"
It's ok to use stuff from other games if it means an overall net benefit for gameplay.
CS is not gonna become valorant. valorant will die as a game long before CS will.

I guess just the habit from using it all along.
Although there are some good points for the older system but for the newer aswell.
The older systems had more weapons. All in one screen would have been quite packed with equipment and grenades etc.
They lowered the amount of weapons you can take into battle. 15 vs 21, so its not so dense anymore.
I really like the old system because i just buy everything with my muscle memory and not much thinking.
I personally can only buy with the mouse due to the muscle memory from years and years of Source. Everytime I try to buy with keybinds (numbers) I go back to Source lmao. I hope the new one is similar to what it was before. If it ends up changing the numbers assigned to a weapon/utility or removing them, there'll be a lot of mad (and rightfully so) people
