10th birthday coin is unfair

It's not unfair. It's called FOMO (fear of missing out).

A lot of games do this. You need to be active throughout all the time to get all the stuff. CSGO does this very, very rarely. You shouldn't worry at all since it's just a silly little pin.

Honestly. If you feel that attached to such stuff it shows you are completely soaked into the addiction the marketing tries you to get into. And you should work on that.
