Feature Suggestions
CSGO is currently very boring and lacks alot of the features that its competitors have, Valve must bring the game up to the modern standard. Valve should add new gameplay mechanics in order to bring the game up to standard with other modern shooters, features such as the ability to aim down sights, destructible environments and the ability to do wall running. A parkour feature would increase the skill-ceiling and make combat situations more dynamic, imagine if you are in a 1v5 scenario and you run on walls and jump behind your enemies to slice them with your katana and then proceed to emote and dance on your enemies (that should also be added). Another idea I had was to add a mechanic where you would press a button to get a speed boost while moving down a wall, as you have no gravity, this would allow you to avoid being shot, as people would have to aim down sights or use their wits in order to stay on top of you.

The Maps
One of the major problems this game has are the maps, there are certain maps which are very popular despite being uncompetitive such as Dust 2, Mirage, Inferno etc... Valve should remove these maps and replace them with more competitively viable maps such as Office, Vertigo, Nuke, Rialto, Canals. The mentioned maps are superior as they have a better layout than the current maps, they are more visually appealing and they are not as easy to win as the current maps. They are also better from a competitive perspective because maps with better layouts are harder to frag against. The layout is the most important aspect of a map, it determines whether a map is good or bad. However they would also be more fun for the competitive players, who are currently forced to play on the current maps due to the popularity of these maps.

The servers & hitreg
The second biggest problem of the game is the server quality, Valve should lower the tickrate to 32 ticks in order to improve server performance and improve competitive gameplay, such a change would allow both experienced and inexperienced players to have a good online experience, since they have a smoother gaming experience.

Further Feature Suggestions
Valve should add features such as romance mechanics, car racing, zombies, rocket jumping etc... There are also many ideas that have been proposed such as making “challenges” such as “get 1000 kills in 5 min or less”, “kill 15 enemies in one life time”, and other features such as getting a “clean kill streak”, to add more variety into the game as well as spice it up. There are many features that are required to the game in order to bring it up to modern standards and the game is almost as dead as it could possibly be because of the lack of these features.
