Vortex Mod Manager flagged by VAC?

Does Vortex Mod Manager get flagged by VAC? I've been installing a Skyrim Ultra 4k Overhaul in the background, and decided to play some CSGO Competitive to pass the time. I didn't think much of it, especially since the mod staging folder is on a completely separate drive from where I have my steam games installed. Should I be worried, or will it just not let me play, until it detects that Vortex isn't running?

It might not even have to do with vortex. It's a problem with vac, there seems to be multiple ways you can get disconnected from VAC, not banned:
- server is bad ish and your connection
- malware on your computer
- VAC doesn't recognize programs like vortex
- There seems to be an exploit which allows cheaters to kick people through vac. So far only one player was able to confirm my suspicion.
