it will lower the latency between the clients with 50% .. so instead people got 15,625 ms to the server, then it will be half with 128 tick so like 7,8125 ms.. that is why it is used in lan to give a lower ping between the clients, but it is alot more demanding for the servers !
A well informed opinion will always be unpopular in this garbage game community.
Most of players won't even notice the difference between 64 and 128 anyway.
Regardless, sub-tick will be fine in 99.9999% of scenarios and is leagues better than just standard 64 tick servers. It's not just marketing mumbo jumbo, its an actual thing. It refers to a system where your inputs, instead of being calculated on a per tick basis on the servers end, are calculated immediately on your PCs end and then sent to the server. Meaning your inputs are immediately registered rather than being bound to the tick-rate of the server.
Would 128 be better? Sure, but its an improvement nonetheless so stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
