Help! Sold a skin but the funds are pending???

I sold a skin and I'm supposed to get $7.40.

But the funds are pending and not in my wallet balance. What is this about?

It says a purchase I made has been refunded and I'll get the funds in 24 hours.

I did not refund. I sold an item for steam wallet.

It's just valve doing a little market manipulation, by discouraging people from selling to keep the skin prices high.

How long does it take now really? In the email is says up to 5 days, but in the steam client it says avaiable in less than 12 hours, which one is now correct? Im missing 30 dollars to buy a knife

The timer in Steam isn't a live counter in the normal sense. Think of it as a download with the estimated time left, which can increase when the speeds drop down.

Thanks. Really annoying though since I just sold all my hoarded cases to buy a Talon knife but now I can't for a few days. But I guess its better that way, since the profile of the guy who bought the skin and case was not setup, which probably triggered the mechanism.

Yeah I'm constantly selling skins on the market and having to wait for pending funds is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying and starting to kill my vibe with steam. They make the process way too long to give you your money, steam if you see this, ♥♥♥♥ you and you suck.

also might I add, maybe don't take the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skin out of my inv @steam if the money is gonna be pending and give us an option to put back on market for someone whose money wont pend for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ week.

Ever since the CS2 release this has happened to me and my friends, never had any problems before selling skins and getting the funds immediately afterwards but ever since CS2 came out we have to wait 2-3 days to get the funds from selling the skin. pretty lame and inconvenient...

This just happened to me for selling 2 skins at the buy order price. There is 5 days left in the current sale, hoping I get the funds in less than 5 days. I will probably never spend money on the steam store again based on how my money is pending.
