Yeah, I know my point sounds a little far-fetched but we didn't expect Valve to remove keys from the marketplace either, nor would Valve make CSGO Free to play. I'm just saying that if some data points out that what's happening with the Anubis Collection makes Valve more profit than just making it randomly drop for players, then you can bet your bottom dollar that every case/collection will be introduced in the same way (as what happened in Anubis Collection).
Well, the capsules, for one, don't drop for players like cases do. It was like that from the start. This is the first time a collection has been readily available for purchase on the in-game store, as opposed to making it a random (unlocked) drop, or even part on an Operation.
Well if you don't earn anything and just play against cheaters, who will lose time? Do you think valve doesn't care about that 100 000 cases taxes he takes from seling items on market?? Is just a stupid asumption, to say that they will remove cases from drops and just add them in market for purchase, because when a case launch it sells crazy high and skins get also high prices for sale, which equal profit again for valve... They did bad with the anubis collection sale. They should have launch a case with anubis collection...
I wouldn't anyway open the anubis collection packages, as they full of low value skins..
Well, as someone else pointed out, capsules are still selling crazy high despite it not being dropped for players, so it's not totally "impossible" for Valve to remove case drops assuming that the data gathered from Anubis Collection Package are "more profitable than if it was dropped for players".
I assume that the new operation will come with or shortly after CS2 and I would imagine it will work in a similar way to the previous ones.
всем привет, я хочу обменять два комплекта anubis на что-нибудь другое, удачи :)
What if Valve is just testing the waters and they'd do it like this (Anubis Collection Package) in CS2?
Anubis was planed to be part of operation . (no operation because of CS2)
Than we have tournament next week with new souvenirs (Anubis map will be played by pros now)
About cases - I think that rules will be the same as always ,because CS 2 is an upgrade , not new game .
Valve doesnt losing money , people still opening cases , a lot .
Also , if Valve remove drops from game ,they will lose crazy amount of money , and playerbase .
Im starting to think that normal Anubis case will be removed from store in few days , because there will be new Anubis souvenirs packs .
