CS:GO Frame skip/game stuttering
Hello I am in need of some help. For the past few years i've been on and off CS:GO but I am finally putting my foot down on my issue that I get and that's frame skipping or game stuttering.

What happens:
Every single game it will randomly happen, from dieing, jumping, peaking corners, and while walking my game will do a "freeze" for like 1 solid second. Sometimes I have had it where during 1 round I got like 20 of them.

What I have already done to fix but didnt work:
FPS cap to monitor HZ | Nvidia Control Settings | In-game settings | Nvidia Optimization | CS:GO Firewall stuff | Trying ethernet and wireless | Trying new monitors

So far what I think the issue is:
- PC might be outdates (I dont think so)
- was told it's just 1 random settings that's messing with me

Specs:
GPU - 1070 Ti 8gb
CPU - i5 9600k
RAM - 32gb
Game folder - SSD

Help would be most appreciated in fixing my issue so I can continue to play the game the same as others. :)

you should clean your pc's software and hardware. I had the same issue until i found out my pc was gross asf and was over heating cause the airways were clogged and my fans were dusty. after i cleaned it my pc stopped over heating. also uninstall bloatware and unwanted programs that take up your pc's storage

Try to launch the game with -vulkan and see if the problem still persists

I will give that a try thank you, will let you know if I notice any changes. So far the -d3dx9 (i think) launch option was helping but didnt fully remove stutter.
