Why? What makes it fun?
It truly baffles me when people cheat (if they cheat vs cheaters, and some legit players get caught in the crossfire. Do they even care that they do?). I never once got a straight answer from someone who spinbots (you can tell they do Hogarth when their radar is a helicopter), as to.....why. They just constantly deny it when their radar says otherwise.
I really don't care anymore if people cheat. I just am exceptionally curious as to the motivations. Do they genuinely want to win? Want to play to be a superhero? Troll? All of the above?
They want some sense of agency. They are powerless outside of video games and are so low skill that playing legit doesn't satisfy their desire for agency. So the only power move left is to cheat.
And it openly breaks steam term of service, including on unsecured server without any form of anticheats on.
Yeah and that's what's happening in normal matches that should be free of cheaters and we have our experience ruined !
but
such players should stay away from legit players forever
Now its "noob with cheats" vs "noob with cheats".
Bascily player skill is not required for this.
Solver quality and features of bought cheats are.
So i don't really see the point of this. But what ever. Unless the do it against clean players its ok for me.
If ppl have fun without hurting others it sohuld be alllowed.
