Can't view players - Steam's New UI (June 16 2023)

I can't seem to find where the "View Players" option is in the the steam overlay.
Did the update remove this menu ? If so, Why ?

Also I do not know why the UI has to tell me if my IP is protected or not.

If you're connecting to someone's server who you do not trust, 
DO NOT connect to their server. 
This should be common sense. 
Steam shouldn't be blamed for this.

I can't find steam's server browser in the overlay either.
I thought it used to be there also...

Steam UI is looking closer and closer to a phone UI and less like a PC interface.
I think it's getting 'fixed' to the point of going broke. (Valve, pls fix but don't fix.)

Agree. Remember when you used to be able to see your personal game data in the phone interface? Now you have to sign in to Steam on a browser.

Both the Steam client and the phone app have changed to push visual detail at the cost of navigability and features. Very bad UX design.

I did realize you can no longer look at the players/past players from your games now. Or rather I've not found it. Kind of a oversight in my opinion 'cuz maybe you want to add someone later and you met them in casual.

i found it today, open the overlay and then click on the left icon " game overview" you'll find everything here

This is not actually the same thing as it used to be. It lists all players who have ever played on the server, not who is actively playing. You can guestimate who is playing based on last active but it's not how it used to be. This UI is hot garbage and a step backwards. I legit thought I was stuck in big picture mode somehow initially.
