Sad to hear that CSGO will shut down soon :(

CSGO was my second online game on PC (first was CS 1.6). All those emotions spent on this game since 11 years will become a memory/nostalgic moment.

I never played CSGO so seriously and never got that better, just played it for time pass. But all those moments spent together with my friends and strangers that became so close after a match. All those Indian and Russian lobbies were so fun for me. Someone was abusing the team, some were fighting each other in chat, some were playing music in middle of the game, those moments were so funny and enjoyable, it will be missed, though the legacy will continue in CS2, but CSGO will always remain in our hearts

Yes. It is tiny. The game entireoy is the same for user beside very few changes.

People dok't have to adapt to anything but different smokes and even minor things. That's it. -.-

Well CS2 will be pretty similar to CS:GO. It's not gonna be big change like CS Source (Thanks god)

The new menu (which works fineà with 12 weaposn restricted to 5 slots will turn it into a random operator/ability game where your choice before the games matters a lot.Whih is something CS GO is known to NOT do

Just in the blast premier, 20% of pro games I watched were using more than 5 weapons in the heavy/SMG slot, and you can't anymore in CS2. Trully hope they change that.

The rest is a nice bowl of fresh air.

I understand the struggle with rifles - but smgs?

They are the easiest to chose.

I don't know the data but you have to keep in mind that these pros basically only play one smg, some like the ump, but most prefer the mac10 and especially mp9.

So the data might show a variety of weapons used but the variety exist vecause of the player, not the guns.

Otherwise it's very easy to pick smgs. I for example just need two:
mac10/mp9
xm

That's it. And that's for most. Some also like the mac7 but then the other 2 picks aren't necessary.

People could all chose for a decade what guns they like and there isn't a lot of variety because it's mainly obvious which are better/meta.

Mp5/mp7 are for example not worth it, sawed off is trash, nova sswell. M249 and negev ofc aswell.

New player can still play around with the loadout between matches and try out all sorts of guns.

But be honest, I think we all start a new game and find our favourite gun very fast.
