CAppSystemDict:Unable to load module client (Dependency of application), error 126

I was invited to test cs2, but I've been unable to try it since this error keeps popping up. Have already verified the games files and it keeps on happening, I've even reinstalled it completely to see if it would work out but so far nothing has made it work. Does anyone have any insights or knowledge on how to solve it?

take a screenshot and your specs data. and send them to that link
might be a windows API issue
thet got know what OS you using and what GPU, drivers, ect

got it working, thank you! had to uninstall a bunch of c++ drivers and reinstall them again. much appreciated

Hey. I had the same issue on Windows. I fixed by:
- Updating to the latest Windows version via Windows Update (standard Windows update)
- Updating my graphics driver
- Going into "Programs" and uninstalling every program with the name "Microsoft Visual C++ XXX Redistributable" and then rebooting. The redistributable were automatically re-installed.

I think it was the last thing that did the trick, but I performed all three operations.

Hello everyone, downloaded CS2 today and got this error. Followed the advice of the game and checked the files as a result of the same error.
OS: Windows 7

Uninstall this software - "Microsoft Visual C++ XXX Redistributable"
and download the latest version from Microsoft Website - Link bellow

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64 or x86) - 14.36.325223

This will resolve the issue.
