CSGO will die after source 2

Hello! As you guys know there is already source 2 csgo also called as "CSGO 2" that looks like ♥♥♥*ing mobile game with better graphics + literally everything looks and feels like VALORANT. Do you guys think that after spending 10k+ hours in csgo as a professional player changing the whole psychics + nades + gun recoil + smoke falling + speed of shooting + diffrent tickrate + crosshair placement THE COMPETETIVE CSGO WILL STILL BE ALIVE????? AFTER 12 years of making tactics (smokes,lineups,flashes,preaims,executes,prefires,map control,utility save,economy,gamesens,right peek angles,one way smokes++) LITERALLY AFTER CHANGING THE WHOLE GAME PEOPLE THAT HAD 10k+ hours will lose 90% of their improvement over the years cause you wanted to update a 11 years old game..for my opinion "CSGO 2" will be a big fail made by VALVE and everyone will slowly start quiting csgo just to find other FPS games like "VALORANT".
I already miss CSGO and personally if the game will look the same like in key version..the game will die really quick.
I really love Counter-Strike..I am just scared that something like changing 75% of the things in the 11 years old game will destroy it.. I think the only pluses and positive things in CS2 is going to be 128tick servers and better AntiCheat...maybe even graphics but i still think that the game is just too bright and the way the smokes are looking is kinda less realistic than the old ones xDD but thats just my opinion.

Yeah, hate to bring the bad news, but here is the thing with your argument…
Professional players (guys that spent 10k+ hours) play for money and money is paid by organizations like BLAST/ESL/etc. to sell a show to sponsors.
These organizations won’t be paying sh*t to show a 10-year-old game when there is a more modern, flashy, good-looking version of the same game with fresh mechanics, just to comply with someone as expendable as a guy that plays a video game frequently and is very good at it (they're not that rare you know) OR the nostalgia crowd (there are people still playing 1.6 or source)
So... CSGO as we know it is pretty much done

no i think it will be a big W. many new players will download the game and try it out because of how anticipated this release will be. overall, i think it will be good for the game and rejuvenate it.

Well actually..I mean the pro stage..

Pro stage will probably still use the source engine until like... a year after release of CS 2

they made sure to carry over the skins and other microtransactions so it won't die as fast as you think.

What's the point of bringing Valorant? That's nothing more than a trendy game. Back in 2015, people used to think Rainbow Six Siege could kill CSGO, in 2016 Overwatch was going to kill CSGO, In 2018 PUBG was going to kill CSGO...and at the end of the day none of those games have achieved what Counter-Strike as a franchise has done.

Heh i agree with you and take my hat to yourself, CS GO will never die but i dislike Valve taken milions of years to bring finally Source 2 and i hope they improve their vac system as well still nothing was talked, the cheaters are big problem but after new engine it may not have more cheats because it's new engine uncless if the idiots port the cheats so thats why Valve need urgent improve the VAC System as well and ban those people, i may consider a IP Ban or Hardware Ban then even person never can cheat never more or offer the cheats to other people, many people already crificed Valve for not caring much about CS GO and its well true, i'm not only one person who say that i even had disliked Valve about CS GO but now it's a new era for CS and hope in this time will be much better than before.

Technically quite impressive but stylistically awful.

I think it'll do fine though - people will adapt. And most people seem to like the new look.

uhu..sure none of those methods actually work anyway as hardware can be resold or returned and ip bans can be circumvented by refreshing your router..or just call your isp and ask them to refresh it for you
