I FIXED IT!!!
from your Local Disk c: type in CS2 in the search bar.
find any and all files named cs2_user_keys .
for all the slots that may be there replace Mouse1 with "+attack" and save
do it for all of them just to be on the safe side.
restart CSGO to launch CS2 and it solved my problem
hope this helps <3
I could kiss you right now thank you! I was pissed last night after messing that up after 1 game trying to fix my settings to match CSGO and not being able to fix it haha
im having same issue but am confused on what to replace mouse1 isnt popping up on any of the user_keys ♥♥♥♥ im so confused
im having the same problem but this doesnt work and if i enter the game,exit and look at the files again they are replaced with toggleconsole
having the same problem, could u fix it? i´ve tried uninstalling the game but didnt work
Bind "mouse1" "+attack"
just copy paste it in to the console and than you will be able to use your mouse like normal again

thx to this guy
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\*your ID*\730\local\cfg
In there go into every "cs2_user_keys_0_slot*any*.vcfg", there it should say this for example:
"config"
{
"bindings"
{
"`" "<unbound>"
"MOUSE1" "toggleconsole"
}
}
Just edit it so it looks this way:
"config"
{
"bindings"
{
"`" "<unbound>"
"MOUSE1" "attack"
}
}
After you did that to every file of them (some look diffrent and it just says
"config"
{
}
in them, ignore those) start cs2. Steam should ask you about whether you want to use the cloud save or the local save. Choose the local save, after you've started up cs2 everything should work again. Hope this helps.
