CS2 Smoke Grenades . Thoughts?
The new smoke grenades look so cool. Shooting through them leaves holes and I think that is pretty cool. Although my fps will propably drop down by alot. What are your thoughts on the new smoke grenades??

Its cool but iam not sure how it would fit in cs. Smoke spamming and reacting to the tracers are a good part of the current meta/gameplay

Also , the new mechanic of the smoke grenades that fill the environment naturally is cool too.

Yep, hopefully this will eliminate most/all one-way smokes

Also what no one mentioned it yet: What about rain? Will bad weather affect smokes :awkward:

What interests me the most is what they did with nades. Smokes have been known to have issues with exposing players behind them when a nade is tossed.

This update turns that into a fully fledged mechanic that requires just a bit more effort to pull off because now your nade needs to land in the smoke. It also gives the smokes a counter similar to molotovs

It also allows players to take fights through smoke at their own risk. Overall, I feel like its a pretty natural evolution of the smoke nade

HE nades gets more utility use, smokes less utility priority because u can push easier through smokes now.
