CS2 is currently perfect. It will use GPU then CPU like how it supposed to be. And people really need to focus on their pc's if they wanna continue because if CS2 is a thing, then CS3 will be a thing. (maybe). And not only because of CS2, in general if you wanna play new generation games without having problems then you NEED to upgrade it.
You don't have to spend a fortune though. A few tweaks here and there; RAM is cheap, CPU's aren't exactly mega bucks, the same when it comes to a motherboard, and a semi decent graphics card won't cost you and arm or leg. You don't need to buy a 4090 or price up a PC with the absolute best in slot!
The problem is many sleep on their PC for years and years, forcing an entire overhaul and hereby lies the problem in terms of cost. I upgrade a few components every few years or so; I've just had a new motherboard and next up is more hard drive space, with later a new CPU then graphics card. My specs aren't high end, yet I am able to get the most out of many new titles (specs on profile).
The other issue is players buying laptops, which is just an expensive console as such, with little room to upgrade and for the same specs if not better, you could spend the similar or near as on a desktop.
Simply put, I care little for those that want to maintain the shelf life of a potato. PC gaming has never and will never wait for anyone, so either maintain your investment over time or quit crying about it when change is absolutely necessary for the rest of the community.
