Actually Source 2 should use less resources so theres a chance you will run CS better

most definitely not but yeah hopefully not as heavy to run as it looks.
if we take half life alyx as as a benchmark to simulate how cs2 will perform then it doesn't looks good for old hardwares.

I don't think Valve would make the game run a lot worse considering they probably want to keep some casual playerbase in the Steam Deck.

Anyone saying it would run better than the current CSGO is tripping. The lighting is huge upgrade those map that are rebuilt in source 2 looks so much better, you're gonna lose FPS for sure and not to mention the new smoke and what not.

You can't use HL:A as a benchmark when it's a VR game demanding two simultaneous renders of the game at (at least) 90FPS each.

I have GTX 1660 Super, Ryzen 5 3400g and 16 gigs of RAM?. Can Run this on 60 fps on high settings? If not I am quitting CSGO forever, cuz I am not Bill Gates.

all the 3 official teasers from Valve set the game on a very High Quality graphics settings, as do the youtubers did judging from the video they posted.
however, i've seen some low graphics settings on a video and it should not require too much power than csgo.

Im running CS2 just fine with my RTX 3060.. Full settings.. Only bottleneck is my framerate on my monitor..
