Hello look I have a pc not very good now cs go me goes between 58-80 fps and then I would like to know if source 2 affect these fps?

Dota 2 has been moved to Source 2, the perfomance got better.
Even though most people didn't notice graphics change.

you should be good its not gonna be some silly raytracing rtx super counterstrike... they know most ppl play on low settings anyway and the low requirements are part of why its so popular :D

Remember that source2 is a graphic engine from 2015. It is not a 2023 engine, so most probably it will be good for u. Instead of that u will get more fps for optimization and stuff like that. Some people that plays on 50fps most probably will get that problem and the game will not run anymore cause obviusly will be a better engine but if u get upper 60 u will not get any problem

source 2 is insanely well optimized, if anything your fps will probably will go up. remember valve made source 1 so they have plenty of experience making breathtaking graphics (for the time) with very good performance. half life alyx is probably the best running vr game ive played through and its one of the best looking.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaL7neFgUbk this video does a great job at not only explaining the differences and also things like parallax cubemaps, which allow much more realistic reflections than source 1 while still not having to literally render the entire world twice. the only thing that will probably be worse is load times, since source 2 maps are just bigger than source 1 ones, but other than that it should be better
