PLEASE READ, I NEED SOME FORM OF HELP!
I bought a knife from skinport a few days ago and an account named 'helper bot#369' just messaged me saying I've been trade banned for using skinport, my username and description have been changed and it gave me all my details in the message (ip, location, end of my phone number, what phone i have mobile auth on) im scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now because it didnt ask for anything like my password, so it couldnt be a scam but all i did was buy from skinport so why is this happening to me?

your account is likely compromised. The "Bot" is trying to get your to trade your items to another account which will result in an api scam. it has all this information because you logged into a phishing site

Remove any APIs from you account, change your passwords, don't make any trades.

Stop logging into untrusted 3rd party sites

Thanks for the help guys, i changed my password but im still unable to change my description? could anyone help with that?

hit the EDIT PROFILE button on your profile

and make sure you did everything

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

What do you mean unable to change your description? you're description is currently blank atleast to me.

Also be sure to disconnect all devices under settings from a secure device. Yes this will mean that you'll have to log in again on all devices you currently use steam on but that also means that any potential hijacker will be logged out.

Also make sure the password change is from a clean secure device, you might want to inniate a anti virus scan

What do you mean lost your prime status? That's not possible as far as i know

and yet it is, i cant do prime queue and the games telling me to (re)buy prime to get drops?
