The main problem with most music kits is that they feel wrong. They are just unpleasant even if you like the music, especially the MVP Anthem. It feels like someone is trying to annoy you. It just doesn't fit into the game.
Counter-example: CSGO's normal music kit. I don't like it much, but it fits the game very well. The music kits, on the other hand, always feel like foreign objects. It's just not ingame music. One of the few exceptions is LNOE by Sasha.

If this were the default kit, most people wouldn't even notice. It's not distracting. Still, it's not boring or arbitrary. You can listen, but you don't have to. And it sounds like it was composed for the game. That's what distinguishes good ingame music.
