Are rare random skin drops a thing?

I know it's less than 1% or something, but if you can get a 50$ crate as a drop, is there a small chance that the skin you get as a drop will be a purple or something?

the skin drop chances ( as FAR as i know ) are unknown. but if you get lucky you might get a milspec collection skin worth 1$ or more. if your luckier you can get drops from 0.03$-0.16$-1.6$-(0.3$-11$)-(10$-200$)
consumer grade-industrual grade-milspec-restricted-classified
depending on the condition and collection of the gun prices may vary. some people get gooood 11$skins and people like me with 3k hours my best drop was an industrual 0.16$ skin. mybe u will get lucky but its not gonna be worth much
