2nd time in two weeks (scammers)

So random will add me as a friend with many hours in csgo and an old ish account making it seem legit but it is not. I accepted because i thought it must have been a player in game earlier.

They will send a message asking you to trade as they are doing a youtube case opening and need cases. They then open a trade with you. Cancel it AFTER you report them because once you cancel the trade the block you and you wont be able to report them.

They said this exactly

"Hey, would you be up for trading cases with me? I'm planning to open them on my YouTube channel and would love to exchange weapons with you."

I received the exact same message from another account last week too.

Its a scam when multiple account add you for no reason and them try to trade with you saying the exact same thing as before. lol cmon man

Its not worth the rest and if it wasn't a scam or trying to take advantage of you in some way why are the messages identical and why add randoms and then why block me after i cancelled it ?

Well yeah thats how trades work, if you agree with the trade you accept, if you dont agree you dont accept. thats not a scam.

hmm you sound like you are one of them, probably monitoring the forums for people reporting scams. I saw you comment in other scam posts too denying what they are saying.

trades are NOT there for randoms to send people trade requests trying to take advantage of children or people that do not know better.

It's not exactly a scam, more abusing peolpe who don't know the value of items. I got one of these messages exactly from someone, the trade deal was real, it was just real ♥♥♥♥. 20$ of crates for 50 cents of skins.

They basically put a bunch of skins worth nothing that have a huge description so you cant see the name of the guns, the guns are worth pennies and they ask you for cases worth 100x more than their penny guns

Literally everyone is using botted stolen account that you can buy on g2g for 20$... Hours, steam level, account age, etc... mean absolutely nothing.
