Question about skins and contacting valve .

I'm an artist who designs my own characters . I noticed that the skins sometimes have actual artwork on them. How can one get their art featured on one of the skins ? Does valve have to hire you ? Do you have to compete for a spot ? Like how are the artists chosen ?

Skins are community made, you can simply make the skins and post it in the workshop section.

My long distance GF in America is an artist and actually lives in WA and she told me that Valve will put art on a skin as long as you "fellatiate" a member of the art team. English isn't my first language but maybe you understand idk

Yeah if hey use your art they will pay you a decent amount as well.

That sounds cool. I really want to make a good skin so I guess i look up how to actually make a skin . Guess I'll look at the workshop .
