Trade Hold 15 Day

Hey guys. I would like to ask a question. One guy send me a trade offer and when I check trade situation I saw trade hold 15 days issue. Is there a risk for trade or Is it way of scamming method?

If you are not able to protect your account with a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator, a hold will temporarily be placed on items moving away from your account. Trade and market holds protect items if a user's account is compromised. These holds also give users a way to recover items before they are lost. Even if a hijacker manages to access your account, you can prevent them from stealing your items by canceling any transactions that are on hold.



What is a trade hold?
A trade hold is a period of time after a trade is accepted by both parties where the items traded are held by Steam before they are delivered. Trade holds last up to 15 days. If you're trading items with a friend, and you've been friends for more than 1 year, the hold is 1 day.

I have Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator but other guy is not. The question is there a scamming risk or not?

If you accept the trade it will be hold for 15 Days and after those 15 Days the Items getting traded if someone of you change or cancel the Offer you need to accept it again and wait another 15 Days. You cant get scammed if you trade Item for item

i have trade hold with someone for 15 days after the 15 days gone and i receive the items on my inventory will they be tradable right after it or i have to wait more 7 days in order to trade them ?

You need to wait 7 Days before you can Trade them again
