temporary suspension 20 hours 56
I have been playing CSGO for the last 5 years, but not daily or too often. What is this about? Am I under suspicion for saying something or is it that I'm playing like a smooth anomaly? but seriously. I was playing on nuke and after that game I got this. I've never heard of this before, if you have any information please share. I also recorded all my gaming sessions so I am not lying or hiding any details :csgohelmet:

It's going to continue to happen when you play competitive until you've reached 10 wins. After that you don't have to worry about any 21hour cool downs anymore.

There are however cool downs for other things such as excessive team damage, abandoning games etc, and they go beyond 24 hours.
I suggest thst you read up on it and be on your best behavior.

You have an active VAC ban. You shouldn't be able to play on official servers at all.
SnabbSpelare Jun 20, 2023 @ 9:06pm
This was on TF2. I cheated in that game using the cheat engine on a two player Minecraft Mario cart (map) server. Tried to get heavy and sniper bow to infinite bullets, but got banned for it. I was young then. This was about 3 years ago. I also said that I recorded my whole session. I don't want to lose my 5 year coin + record. I hope you get the point. :/

Huh? I've been able to do that for years. VAC bans are sperate for csgo to tf2. I'm banned on css bc of my tf2 ban. Not csgo. I haven't cheated in csgo.

Unfortunately, we're just players and we don't make the rules. You can't play on official servers with a VAC ban regardless of which game you got it from

I don't have an explanation for that. As far as I'm aware, that isn't possible

Then how have I been in about 50+ games? It says I'm in suspscion cool down not a ban. Why would I be punished for something that isn't even connected. So I can't play CSGO bc I was banned in a tf2? Bruh!

I see. I guess no one can know what nightmare it is to be a bunch of code with unstable results. I hope I don't get accoused for something I didn't do. I want to play this game not be kicked or cool downed. I was just in a game with three guys and now I'm under a time out. I'm so confused.

I stand corrected. Valve's webpage about VAC bans have some more accurate information:

What games am I VAC banned from?
To see which games your VAC ban affects, please launch Steam and go to Steam > Settings > Account tab > select "Click here for details" under VAC Status.

What games can I play if I have been VAC banned?
VAC banned accounts can still play single-player games, local LAN games, and multiplayer on non VAC-secured game servers. To find non VAC-secured servers, from the Steam main menu click on View, select Servers, then select the Change Filters button in the bottom left and Not secure in the Anti-cheat dropdown.

Cheating in one of the following Source games or a Source mod will result in a VAC ban for all games in the list below:
Counter-Strike: Source
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Day of Defeat: Source
Team Fortress 2
Similarly, cheating in one of the following Gold Source games will result in a VAC ban for all games in the list below:
Counter-Strike
Counter-Strike: Condition Zero
Ricochet
Day of Defeat
Team Fortress Classic
Half-Life: Deathmatch
Deathmatch Classic

You should be able to hover over the in-game cooldown banner and get an explanation. Usually it's either for getting tons of cheating / griefing reports or because you got two competitive wins in 24 hours which affects everyone and isn't considered a punishment

The guys I was playing with invited me to their game and they got a issue. It's a green cool down. It says "skill..." and that I won two games too often or like that. How do I prevent this from happening? Is this a type of anti-smurf or what? I am not a pro but I like acting like Im better than I actually am. I should prob remove the feedback question I sent to valve. Idk. thank you for asking me further. I appericate you not being pushy.
