case drops reset once every week i.e. after the reset you can get your weekly crate by leveling up your xp rank. you can check when the case drop resets on this website https://josh3d.com/csgo/ remember that you can only get 1 crate every week so no point grinding for more xp because you will level up without getting crates, also , every xp rank need the same amount of xp so don't worry about xp increasing as ranks increase it's same for all ranks.
